Two Point, One Point, and Irregular Boudary Adjustment

In Unit 3, we found that this nonproportionality is true to an even greater extent with two-point and one-point control problems. Here a resurvey must make the assumption that the record distances and bearings were, to the best knowledge of the original surveyor, accurate and honest.

So we must use those records to center our search area and ultimately to restore the lost corner. Again, applying index correction if average error is present in the township.

Section 2 of Unit 3 dealt with adjustments in irregular exterior lines, do you recall how irregular exteriors were often created?
