  Two Point, One Point, and Irregular Boudary Adjustment

Often they were a result of surveys done by different surveyors at different times and from different directions. Depending upon many factors like inaccurate instruments, rugged terrain and the like, various parts of the rectangular system might have a deflection in alignment. When they were connected, the lines between the identified corners had to be run at angles to the grid and this irregularity must be considered in resurvey.
