  Section 2 - Grant Boundary Adjustment

This results in shape conformity so that all interior angles of the record courses are equal to the interior angles of the adjusted courses. Consequently, this adjustment technique is often used when it is desirable to maintain the angles of the original survey, as is true with grant boundary adjustments.


 

 

 

 

 

Scale change means that all of the lines are either increased or decreased in length proportionally.
